Holiday Weddings: The 4th of July

The 4th of July is almost upon us and a wedding
is a fun and festive way to gather all of your friends and family together to celebrate.
There are so many cute ways to incorporate the theme and, let’s face it,
firework wedding pictures are priceless. Go ahead; take the theme too far,
after all it’s your big day and celebrating it on the 4
th of July is
not low-key or understated.

The Tuxedos, Suits and Accessories

Want to stay just ahead of trends? Choose a navy or midnight tuxedo. Savvi Minnesota carries two versions of classic looks in blue.

Navy Kingston, by Savvi Evening Collection

This tuxedo is a two button, single breasted coat with besom pockets, a side-vented back, and satin framed notch lapel. The fabrication is luxurious super 110s wool with a subtle tone-on-tone stripe. It is worn with matching flat front pants without a satin leg stripe.

Midnight, by Michael Kors

This tuxedo will be available for Spring 2015 and is a two button, single breasted coat with besom pockets, a side-vented back, and satin framed notch lapel. The fabrication is a luxurious super 130s wool. It is worn with matching flat front pants.

If a suit is more your style Savvi can help you with that too. We carry a line of suits, including the perfect navy blue for your celebration.

Groom in white accessories and groomsmen in red or blue. A

The Pictures

You have to have sparklers!

Navy Blue – it’s forever classic, totally Americana, and
looks great on everyone. Bonus if you can find a red barn to take pictures in
front of.

Red – a great alternative for bridesmaid dresses. Since it
July is hot, we love the idea of keeping the bridesmaids cool in short dresses {Allure Style 1300}.

Red and white damask print table cloths with blue accents
keep this looking clean and festive. The hanging paper lanterns give a great
textural element to the tent. See
for more details from this fantastic 4
th of July wedding.

There are so many different and adorable options to keep in
theme. Blueberry pies, white chocolate dipped cherries, strawberry tarts, red
velvet cupcakes, the possibilities are endless. That said, cake is classic and
is there really a more creative cake out there than this one?

Have a safe and fun 4th of July!
